Defining what’s a brand is no easy task. Nonetheless, all great brands have one thing in common: they connect on an emotional level with their audience. Koombea is no exception.

We’ve carefully put together a set of rules and best practices that will easily help you communicate our brand’s message.

Our Logo

The name of our company reflects the origins of our cultural heritage. We chose cumbia, a very popular dance in South America that was originated in Colombia.

Our logo is another representation of our culture. It’s a symbolic representation of the sombrero vueltiao, a traditional hat and a national symbol of Colombia.

Safety Area

Our primary logo is a horizontal lockup of our name and logotype. When space is limited, only use the logotype without the name.

To ensure the logo is correctly represented, the minimum safety zone around our primary logo (which includes name and logotype) is 2x the size of the inner circle, defined as “x”. When the logotype is used by itself, the minimum safety zone equals the size of the inner circle, defined as “x”.

Our typography is built around a sans-serif font, in order to create a noticeable contrast between the plain text and the typography of the logo.
